WAN - Call for Talks

General Information

The 2025 edition of the Workshop on Automata Networks (WAN 2025) that will take place in Lille, France, between July 2 and July 4, 2025.

This workshop aims at bringing together, favoring exchanges and working together (through oral scientific presentations and joint thematic working sessions), the community that studies automata networks, from the perspective of mathematics and computer science, but also from life sciences and social sciences.
This will notably be the place to take stock of recent advances in the field, and to identify open questions and inspire the community with promising theoretical and applied research directions.

WAN consists of presentations by guest speakers, presentations proposed by participants and working sessions. This provides an ideal framework for encouraging scientific discussion and collaboration within the community, particularly involving non-permanent researchers.

This year's invited speakers will be:

  • Julio Aracena, Universidad de Concepción

  • Sylvain Sené, Université d'Aix-Marseille

  • Heike Siebert, Freie Universität Berlin

During the working sessions, there will be one dedicated to topics of common interest between GT BIOSS (Groupe de travail sur la biologie systémique symbolique) and GT SDA2 (Systèmes Dynamiques, Automates et Algorithmes). We hope this will be an opportunity to animate possible collaborations between the two GTs.
